Must be brief.. (shocking, I know) but you'll never believe what we did today! Grandparents hold onto your hats. We got to go with our friend Betsy to visit the barn where she is working and keeping her horse for the summer. We got to feed the chickens and see where they were laying their eggs...
"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!!!!!"
My new pet.. or... breakfast?!?! :)They got to help groom Betsy's horse, Klondike...And yes, even get suited up for a ride!!!Oops.

It was so much fun and the kids have spent the afternoon (you guessed it) aspiring to ride horses for the rest of their lives. That's ok by me! Betsy was great... have you ever lost touch with someone you were close to for awhile and when you saw them again realized they were actually even more amazing then you remembered? That'd be our Betsy!!! (And no.. I'm not just saying that because the kids got to go riding.. .. .. :)
Yee-haw until next time! :)
