Sammy Got a "Boo-Boo"

I am sorry to report that today, during an extreme version of leap-frog, Sammy's forehead had quite a collision with our (metal) shoe basket. :( As you can see, he took it like a trooper. After consulting with his doctor about stitches because it was quite border-line, we decided to go for a careful cleaning and butterfly elastics. The Doctor seems to think that will scar (best case less... worse case the same.. ) as stitches would have. I thought I'd let you know (obviously it's hard to miss :) and if you ask him... so far he just says "I busted my head." :)

Poor buddy! Makes him look tough, though. I guess from now on Extreme Leapfrog requires a helmet?

What a champ! Tell Sammy he's my hero! I would have cried and whined about that for weeks if I were him. Maybe I should teach him the art of milking it :o)

That's what I'm talking about - a real man has some scars on his head...his Uncle Mike has two (very manly).
