So Very Blessed

We're back! :)

Here are a few pictures pre-surgical-drama-mess.... ;) We washed the van together... then the bikes... then (of course) each other!
Hannah finally found a little caterpillar named "Pilly"... who is now no longer with us... he was "napping" a bit to much...

Sam had a hard time keeping the hose pointed the right direction :)

We had an afternoon of painting!

Last Wednesday I had outpatient surgery to have my gallbladder removed. The doctors decided my appendix needed to come out too. After returning home I got very, very sick and went back to the ER where I was admitted where I spent the next four days... one of which was Mother's Day.

There are no words to describe how amazing it was to realize how blessed I was in this experience not only as mother, but also as a daughter and a daughter in law. My mom of course was by my side and such an incredible encouragement, support, and help. I don't know what I'd do without her. My mother in law didn't blink before coming to stay with the kids until I was able to come home. I was able to hear happy little voices telling me stories of the fun things they were doing... and it was such a comfort to know they were well taken care of!

I am so thankful that I get to be her daughter...

Soup and sandwiches with Grammie... and my B E A U T I F U L daisies from Michael and Faith - I love them ! Jake and his "Gramma" Thank you again sooo much to both of these wonderful mothers for the way you helped take care of us! (And happy late Mother's Day!)Here's a picture of my big boy singing with his children's choir. I was so proud of him. He has grown so much and while his shy nervousness was written on his face he marched up on the stage, sang his songs, and peeked over at me trying not to smile to big! He did a great job.Just a fun picture of Jake, Hannah, and our friend Morgan at the park.

Now THIS was (a replay) of one of the sweetest moments of my entire life. Jacob showed up at the hospital as I was missing my babies so badly, with these flowers. He climbed up on the bed and explained to me that his "Gramma" took him in the gift shop and said he could pick anything he wanted... so he picked daisies (my favorite) and they are in a coffee mug!!! :) He told me he picked the card with hearts on it because he loves me, and as you can see he signed it "Jacob Wall." I'll keep that for the rest of my life! :)

I am feeling a bit stronger every day. and wish there was a way I could thank my family and friends for the love and help you have given, but there are no words. Before I could even think through a sentence so many of you had planned meals, help, and visits. Every need down to fun blankets and soap, hair ties, cups, and other little blessings showed up at the hospital. Most of all I was overwhelmed by the visits, the care, the calls, the help, and the amazing relationships that the Lord has given me. I've said it so many times and I can't help but say it again, the Lord has blessed beyond measure. The Lord has also blessed me with friends and family who really, really love and it has overwhelmed me. Thank you all so much for what you have done.
